Fyrypt is an iptables-based firewall which - in addition to being an app firewall - lets you block background processes from accessing mobile data or Wi-Fi. Using Fyrypt you can block apps and processes based on their UIDs as well as PIDs. Plus it offers many other features to control and monitor the network activity on your device.
