Developer Options

In order to use ADB, you first need to unhide the Developer Options. This is a one-time process. But on some OEM ROMs you might need to repeat this after every restart.

• Go to Settings → About
• Tap Build number 5 to 7 times

Developer options should appear directly under Settings or in Settings → System at the bottom.
